Close enough is good enough. Steal the Chloé style with these little peepers from Sportsgirl. Feel that 70's vibe for only $39.95 - get them HERE.

AMBER SCEATS TUSK EARRINGS - 18ct gold plated tusk-like earrings, a subtle punk look with a refined feel.
COMME DES GARÇONS HOMME PLUS WHITE TAILCOAT TEE - I love shopping in the men's section and I've always been a fan of a great tee. How good is this one! I'd wear it back with a black leather mini and some killer kills, hair in a pony and a red pout.
DIOR SO REAL SUNGLASSES - As seen on the gorgeous Olivia Palermo and Rihanna, the new IT shades just in time for spring/summer.
PROENZA SCHOULER WOVEN SANDAL - Gladiator glam. These heels look like the kind of heels you could run all night in - a good combination of comfy and sexy. I love the woven leather work, peep toe and ankle strap for extra support.
I'm in love with this Chloé crystal neckpiece. It's a little out of my "grown woman budget" right now, so I'm going to opt for this gorgeous alternative by Amber Sceats. It also comes in stainless steel and a horizontal drop version. It will look beautiful worn with all white - skinny jeans, a softly tailored shirt or simple tank, and a nude heel. Get it HERE.
Same same but different. Get the Isabel Marant look with these Wittner winners. I mean, who really wants to pay $500 for a pair of slides? And, they also come in white, yay Wittner! Wear them back with palazzo pants, culouttes or even cut-offs. Get them HERE.
Sportsgirl's black longline trench is my pick for a mid season winner. Its softly tailored silhouette makes it perfect to throw on and off with ease, and its price tag won't break your budget at only $149.95. I love it worn open and loose - I actually removed the buttons on mine. Pair it back with all black, or mix it up with denim and white. Add a touch of gold for a luxe look.

Firstly, apologies for the lack of posts. I've been busy working on an exciting new project which I'm hoping to launch in October, I'll keep you all posted.
Now, back to fashion. I've talked about the evolution of Kanye West's style before HERE. I don't often post about men's style, although I follow it closely. To keep it simple, though, Kanye takes the cake. If I were a guy, this is exactly how I would choose to dress. In fact, I often dress like this anyway.
Here are a few things I love about Kanye's style:
* He opts for muted palates making it easy to mix pieces between outfits
* His proportions are perfect. I love extra long tees on men, layered up with other pieces.
* His layer game is on point - a varied mix of textures, lengths and volumes.
* The cuts - ok, it does help when you can afford to buy designer clothing, the cuts are impeccable. Even a simple designer crewneck sweater has the perfect cut.
* His skinny jeans don't look like leggings. Take note boys, they shouldn't look like they are painted on. They need to still ruche around the legs to give them a relaxed tailored feel.
* I love when he wears his Timbs laced all the way to the top.
So, here's a style tip for the boys (or for those girls who dress their boys), when choosing an outfit just ask yourself #WWKW? (What Would Kanye Wear?), and you won't go wrong.

So 80's, ohhhh, the nostalgia! Clearly inspired by Céline's spring '14 collection, Sportsgirl has designed these cool pieces to get you the look for less. If you are the creative type, you may even want to attempt something similar as a DIY project. I know if I attempted to walk out of the house in something like this my hubby would look at me and ask if I let our 2 year old loose with the paintbrush - silly boys, what do they know?!
I love when people are brave and fearless with their style. Here are some looks I love, snapped on the streets.

I finally got a chance to set up my petite workspace, I'm just waiting for my desktop computer to arrive from NZ to complete the setup. Thanks to IKEA, and my family's discount home essentials store, I was able to create a space that makes me smile, on a small budget. The desk, magazine holders, orchids, pink pot plant, glass berry tealight holder, chair and lambskin are from IKEA. The photo frames, cork board and clear memo note cube are from my family's store. The light globe planters are from my family's store also. If you love them and would like to purchase some just email me HERE. You can also put tealight candles in them, succulents or whatever your heart desires. The collage I made from printed images off my tumblr page HERE. The acrylic stapler, sticky tape dispenser, gold cage cube and marble candle holder are from Country Road. And the rug was a half price bargain from Freedom (thanks to my girl Claudia from Peep My Style for the tip).
Take cues from Alexander Wang's SS14 runway show with this pale blue pretty from Sportsgirl. Frightened of the PJ trend? Wear back with white skinny jeans for a less sleepy look. Shop the shirt HERE.
TOM FORD JENNIFER ALLIGATOR BAG $25,000 - Alligator ain't cheap! The price you have to pay to have a reptile wrapped across your body...sheeshhhhh.
EYEFUNNY G5601 FULL WHITE DIAMOND WATCH $50,000 - Hey, let's all walk around with a house deposit on our wrist! This watch takes sports luxe to another level.
I'm in need of a small black bag for winter. Big enough to fit my everyday essentials, but not so big that I can never find anything in it. I want a boxy shape with mixed metal hardware and an adjustable strap. The PS 11 mini classic is the dream, but I'm thinking this Dylan Kain one is a great alternative. It even has an internal mirror for make up touch ups and transforms into a clutch for nights on the town. You can see more of "The Ultimate" HERE and shop "The Steal" HERE.
I've been trying to track down a pair of reasonably priced two-tone oxfords since I spotted Nicole Richie in her Saint Laurent's, but all my usual go-to shoe brands (Senso, Wittner, Tony Bianco etc...) have failed me. Almost 12 months on and even good ol' Zara has let me down. The two-tone colourway is on trend across many styles, but it's really some oxfords I'm hunting. If anyone comes across some goodies in their travels, please help a sister out. Thanks in advance.

Currently coveting the Aquazzura Amazon 105 sandals on the right. They are actually on sale at the moment reducing the price tag to AUD$665, hmmm, tempting. You can take a closer look at them HERE. Or, if you want something similar without the weighty cost, try the Zara heels as a great alternative. You can buy them HERE. These will look great with a leather side split pencil skirt and a relaxed tailored shirt, buttoned low - very Carine Roitfeld. Or throw them on with skinny jeans and a simple tee for a more casual look.
I'm in the process of setting up a new work space at home. I work better when things look prettier - what girl doesn't? Between IKEA and Country Road I think I have it pretty much covered. I picked half of it up over the weekend and will attempt to have it all set up by next week. Here's to making mundane work look good!
Grey and blush - two of my favourite colours this season. The Corina nude tone sneaker, by Country Road, is a gorgeous mix of leather and suede, and will only set you back AUD$129. The Zara open work leather sneaker comes in a cool grey with velcro straps and a perforated body. These are also cheap as chips at only USD$99.90. Add to cart immediately please!
I discovered this cool DIY marble table in the June issue of Real Living magazine, created by stylist Sami Simper. I'm definitely going to give this a go, I will use it in the entry of my house. When it comes to interiors, marble and gold/brass/copper, is one of my favourite combos. This DIY only costs around $60 in total, bargain. The table is available from IKEA and the marble tiles and spray paint are from Bunnings. I'll post a pic of the finished project next week.
This is my dream cut right now, but I'm too scared to commit! I love that the length just touches the base of the neck and the messy styling is very appealing. I have an unfortunate history when it comes to short dos. Every time I take the plunge I regret it - instead of dishevelled sophistication, I end up with triangular "kindergarten teacher" hair. I just don't think I have the right hair/head for it. Booooo.
(PS. How hot does Kate Mara look with a blonde bob? Anyone else a House of Cards fan?)

I hope all the beautiful mummies out there had a fabulous Mother's Day full of love, I certainly did. Speaking of beautiful mums, Tash Sefton is one of the most stylish in Oz. Her instagram pics are filled with designer pieces every girl swoons for. We can't all afford Balmain, Isabel Marant and Chanel, but we can use her style as inspiration for our own closets.
I am convinced we all need this outfit above. Mid length skirts with side splits are right on trend - the length is sophisticated and the split adds just the right amount of sexy. This Shakuhachi skirt is made from buttery blush-toned leather. It's not available in store yet, but you can stay up to date with Shakuhachi's collections HERE. This skirt is definitely on my "must have" list.
Tash's collarless, quilted Balmain jacket is divine and the cut is perfecto. 98% of us probably don't have $3000 lying around to throw at a denim jacket, but you could really try any denim jacket. Just switch the original hardware for ornate gold buttons. Your local haberdashery, Spotlight or Lincraft should have some great options.
See the links above for other items to complete this look for less.
You can stalk Tash's style via her instagram @tashsefton
It's shaping up to be a very "pretty in pink" season. How good is this quilted faux leather jacket from Zara. Wear it back with all white or pale blue denim. You can get it in store at Zara, online HERE, or if you are like me, and can't get Zara in your area, you can pick it up off eBay HERE. It might cost you a little extra, but it's still a bargain in my books!
Who can go past a really great white shirt? It's a classic staple every girl should have in their wardrobe. Every year Witchery runs its White Shirt Campaign which supports the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation by giving 100% of the gross proceeds from the sales of every white shirt sold.
In New Zealand alone, approximately 200 women die each year from ovarian cancer. 3.8 million dollars was raised last year from the Witchery White Shirt Campaign. Let's all get together, purchase a fresh white shirt from Witchery and support an amazing cause. To raise further awareness share an image of you in your white shirt with the hashtag #uniteinwhite.
National White Shirt Day is on 1 May, be part of it!
